4th of July Weekend at Domingo Springs Camp

We spent a long weekend at Domingo Springs Camp being joined with my grandparents, my parents, and my brother with his two children. We had 11 immediate family members, which lead to story telling a plenty around the fire ring well into the starlit night.

With the recent valley heat, a number of trails and forest service roads were open for exploring -- our first opportunity of the season due to record snowfall. I took a number of "nature" pictures because I need to dress up our home office with summer memories during the long stretch of valley fog from November to March.

Because it had been a number of years since we celebrated Christmas together, we leveraged our first night to decorate a tree with lights and ornaments, blast Christmas tunes over the truck's speakers, and oven bake a 12 pound ham. It took sometime to convince Allison there were "no presents" under the tree, but she "hammed" up for the camera with her cousin Emily.

I have uploaded two photo albums capturing many of the moments -- too numerous for the blog. Check them out at Totallyisham.com Disc 1 and Disc 2.
