4th of July at DSC - Lake Almanor boat tour
In 2007, Allison had one wish at the end of the DSC camping season -- go on a pontoon boat ride. This 4th of July, I arranged for a pontoon boat rental from chilly 9 AM to comfortable 1 PM. The smoke from near-by Butte and Plumas County fires made visibility very challenging with 10,000+ foot Mt. Lassen hiding in the dense smoke.
