Celebrating Alex's good report card
Recently, Alex's preschool had parent-teacher conferences and his teacher had outstanding comments to share with us. To congratulate Alex on a job well done, we asked him to pick his perfect day. He replied with donuts, bowling, and hot dogs, so that's what he got. We grabbed donuts near the fish hatchery, picnicked in the parking lot, and fed the rainbow trout fish chow with all of the nickels we've collected in the last six months. We bowled a low scoring game at Folsom Lake Bowl (Wii bowling is not helping our real scores) and finished with a hot dog lunch at Urban Dogs. Alex was satisfied with the day's outings and we were happy to have quality family time!
