Star Wars at the Rivercats

Last night, we celebrated the last Saturday of summer vacation by attending a Sacramento Rivercats baseball game. Earlier in the week, we learned it was Star Wars night at the ballpark and if the kids dressed up, they got free Cats Cash for Rivercats merchandise. Allison sported Princess Leah hairbuns, a white top, and a rope tied belt. Alex previewed his Darth Vader Halloween costume. As the night went on, Alex sported his Darth Vader costume front ways and his Rivercats hat on backwards and was told by many passer-bys that he had the look.

The empire soldiers were great. Giving high-fives all while sporting their weapons locked and loaded.

Darth Vader showed his "force" powers. He threw out the first pitch with a trick baseball. It had a string tied to the ball so he could pull it back from the catcher. It was priceless!
